The Hollows pond was regraded and re-sloped to improve water flow, reduce erosion, and address safety concerns. The fountain repair and improved waterfall feature have restored this favored community amenity. Plants were installed at the entrance beds.
Welcome to Valley Ranch! The improvements to the south entrance of the community include a higher profile monument sign, stone flowerbed border, enhanced lighting of the monument, and cleaning/staining of existing brick and capstone.
With miles of red brick walls and walkways under our care, priority for repair or replacement is always given to areas that represent a safety concern. Red brick walls, pathways, and foot bridges are reviewed annually and ranked for improvements and repairs. Asphalt repairs were made to Canoe Canal North, Canoe Canal Northwest, and Canoe Canal East.
The Water Circle project was split into two phases, the north and south side of the fountain. The south phase, completed in early 2018, included re-sloping and converting the asphalt pathway to concrete and redesigning the landscape beds for better erosion control. The north phase, slated for completion in Fall 2018, will mirror the improvements made to the south phase.
